EXCELLENT Based on 1434 reviews Posted on jdwmEastSussexVerified Good value, great location. Excellent receptionist. Great location. Good value. Brilliant sockets right where you want them - at your bedside. Small shower. Parking on road but expensive at £4 per hour. Lots of restaurants and bars within 2 minutes walk. Er, no soap in the shower dispenser.Posted on Explore511497Verified Great stay Just back from the Kelvingrove Hotel after a weekend stay with family. great place to stay, so handy for everything. Location was second to none for our requirements, Arena 10 minutes walk, bars and restaurants 3 minutes. Staff amazing could not be anymore homely welcoming. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.Posted on Laura JVerified Perfect for a cheap night's sleep. We stayed at this particular hotel as we were going to a concert so we needed somewhere convenient to sleep. The room was a little small and roadside so there was a bit of passing noise. However it's the perfect place to stay if you just need a bed, and a decent shower too.Posted on Bryan HVerified Friendly staff in a hotel set perfectly for Finnieston restaurants and the Hydroat great value Perfect spot for us to eat and drink in the many superb restaurants and bars in Finnieston and ideal for our two nights out at the Hydro which is only a very short walk away. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again.Posted on Meander55184634281Verified Very Good The staff were very friendly and very helpful. EXCELLENT Based on 612 reviews Posted on Sam Mulvihill I stayed there for only a couple nights, but the rooms felt cozy. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the staff was very helpful. It is a short walk to University of Glasgow and the subway, there is also a bus stop an even shorter walk away. The price was amazing! we did have to walk down and up a flight of stairs to get to the room, but it was not too bad, unless you have a lot of suitcases.Posted on Ralf Berger We stayed for a week and it felt like homePosted on Garrett McDonnell Came for a concert at the ovo hydro and loved it. The front desk manager was kind and helpful. The location is unbeatable, not just for the hydro arena but other sites like the botanic gardens. Easy to access via the bus.Posted on greg smith Rooms spacious and nice. Staff amazing made you feel welcome and very friendly, they was very accommodating and made the stay pleasant. Close to Arena. Value for money would highly recommend.Posted on Mia Sykes Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with my mum and pal as we were going to a concert at the OVO the staff were absolutely amazing so welcoming and friendly! Honestly they made our stay so good! The room were so clean, and very spacious would definitely stay here again in futurePosted on Richard Brunton Ideal for gigs at Hydro. Room was warm and a nice breakfast.Posted on Matthew Beckman I only stayed one night while visiting the University of Glasgow. I found Kelvingrove Hotel to be a terrific value, great service (Ryan is wonderful). The room was very clean and comfortable; I was on the ground floor so there was some road noise outside but not enough to bother me. I enjoyed the very convenient, pleasant walk through Kelvingrove Park back and forth to the University. Also, there is a bus stop directly across the street from the hotel, including service directly to the airport (as well as center city, etc) which was a welcome surprise.
