Kelvingrove Park will be transformed into a place of colour, music, dance and creativity on Sunday, June 25th, 2023. The largest festival of its kind in Scotland, Glasgow Mela is a magnet for thousands of people from all over to celebrate the traditions of the Indian sub-continent.

Visitors from around Scotland and the UK will be treated to any number of incredible dance, music, and interactive acts from around the world, showcasing so many inspiring international artists, as well as local groups from a wide range of communities in Glasgow.

Totally free to attend, Glasgow Mela has been taking place since 1990 and is representative of a vibrant multi-cultural Scotland that welcomes families, individuals, and groups to experience so much on offer.

No festival would be complete without an interesting marketplace and street food, and Glasgow Mela will certainly deliver on this too. Visitors will be treated to an assault on their senses with the delicious street food available to buy and sample.
