Bellahouston Park is a lovely spot to spend time in when in Glasgow. With 169 acres to explore and discover, you’ll enjoy many of the facilities it has to offer including gardens, bowling greens and all-weather pitches for the more energetic activities.
It is incredible to think that this park is Glasgow’s oldest park that spans 136 acres. Within easy reach of the city centre, it is located on the east side of Glasgow, and is proud of its green flag status, awarded in 2011. Watch out for regular events and festivals that pop up from time to time. Most visitors always enjoy a stroll around the People’s Palace and Winter Gardens. Open daily.
Bookings are back with a bang at the Ovo Hydro in 2022 as so many superb acts have been lined up to play here. Current names due to headline include Brian Adams, Diana Ross, Billie Eilish, Westlife and Florence and the Machine!
People love to visit here as it really does offer a great nights entertainment all under the one roof. If you are looking for food, music and a bar all under the same roof with an exceptional atmosphere, it’s all here.
At last, we can all look forward to Summer Nights at the Iconic Kelvingrove Bandstand. The summer nights programme kicks off with Suzanne Vega on July 30th and ends with Edwyn Collins performing on August 15th, with many other superb acts due to play in between.

Calling all night owls, this venue is for you. Open until 3AM, every night, its energy is captivating and contagious. Most gigs run from 19.00 to 22.15, and from 23.00 to 03.00hrs the club operates.
Described as “a vibrant events venue and hospitality brand in the heart of Glasgow city centre” Platform is a little more chilled out than other venues and has some great street food and craft beer to enjoy under the same roof.
The Garage packs a lot into its 4 levels of entertainment on Sauchiehall Street. It has 6 rooms open for gigs and club nights. The schedule may vary, check out the listings online.
One of the smaller night time venues listed, it is perfectly formed and has a loyal customer base! If you want exposure to new and interested artists, and enjoy some great vegan food, head to Mono.

Everyone loves the name and the venue that is ‘Nice N Sleazy’. We just know it as a great place to go to on 421 Sauchiehall Street. For a no nonsense night of fun, it’s an excellent choice for you and your party to visit.

Comedy Clubs
Open 7 nights a week for comedy and is the only full-time comedy club in Glasgow. Located in the west end of the city, weekend nights are premium and tend to book up quickly due to limited space.
This comedy club is located inside the north rotunda at entertainment quay, adjacent to the SEC Hydro, Glasgow. They operate a great comedy dinner show and alumni from their early days include Alan Carr and John Bishop, not bad! Disabled access at the venue.
