Traditional Ceilidh at the Hilton Grosvenor
The West End branch of the Hilton serves up a night of glamour as well as good, traditional fun at their annual Ceilidh Ball. Expect a five-course meal to see you through some vigorous dancing, as well as canapes and champagne on arrival.
Perfect for a younger crowd, this vibrant venue is well-known for pretty wild weekends and New Year’s Eve looks set to be no different. Drinks and late-night dancing will keep you going until the small hours, with a DJ serving up club classics all night long too.
Celebrate at the Corinthian Club
Arguably one of Glasgow’s swankiest venues, the Corinthian holds an annual New Year’s Eve celebration which is often attended by the who’s who of the Scottish celeb scene. The party gets started after 10pm when the cocktails are brought, out along with a DJ to keep you entertained and some secret party surprises too.
Café Mambo Ibiza Special
Looking to relive your days on the island? Love club classics and dreaming of the White Isle? Look no further than this event, hosted by The Social and Shimmy, where resident DJs from Café Mambo, Danny O and Mia Moore, will be on the decks alongside some homegrown talent.
Party at Victoria’s
This Sauchiehall Street nightclub is a real local institution. On New Year’s Eve they’ll be hosting a party that’s sure to be just as colourful as regular weekends at the venue. The dancing doesn’t stop until 4am at Victoria’s, so if you like to go all-out when you’re celebrating then this is the place for you.
Moulin Noir Burlesque
The famous Club Noir brings their unique brand of entertainment to Glasgow for a final showcase of all things alternative. It’s their farewell night and we’re not sure when they’re returning to the city’s club scene so book your tickets early if you’re keen.
Rock Lock-In at Waxy’s
Air guitar competition, anyone? If classic rock is your thing, then get to the city’s favourite Irish Bar and party like you could a couple of decades ago! There’s a late-night buffet on offer as well as a welcome drink, and tickets are just a tenner.
